Tips from the pro Gretchen B Photography

Hire a Pro!

With the popularity of digital photography, many amateurs are venturing into the wedding industry. Before you let a novice (or even worse, a friend or family member!)  photograph your wedding, take a minute to think about the photographs from your parents’ wedding and the photographs from your family and friends’ weddings. These images will be among the most important you will ever have. They will be passed on to your children and to your grandchildren.  How do you want your wedding day to be remembered? The number one complaint I hear about wedding photography is from people who went “cheap” and didn’t hire a professional wedding photographer. I’ve heard comments from “the photographer shot my wedding and then disappeared” to “the pictures just weren’t what I expected” and everything in between.

Don’t be disappointed! Find a photographer whose style matches yours–who is experienced with weddings–who makes you comfortable, and you’ll have images that truly represent you and your groom on one of the most important days of your life.
