How do I book a wedding floral designer?
Hey, guys. I'm Steph with Engaged. Today I want to answer the question, how do I book a wedding florist or floral designer? So my first advice is make sure you hire a professional. At Engaged, I will only work with professionals. Most all the floral designers in my group have had years and years of experience. Things can go wrong with flowers. They can die, they can fall out of an arrangement, they can fall, heaven forbid, out of a hanging arrangement, so you want to make sure you have someone that is experienced and professional, licensed and insured, all those important things. Any of our Engaged floral designers meet that criteria. Secondly, I want you to start your Pinterest board and pin things that you love so that when you meet with a floral designer, you can show them what you're thinking. Like they say, a picture speaks a thousand words, so Pinterest, Pinterest, Pinterest is great to help you get a vision for your floral design, but then check out your floral designer people that you're going to meet with on Instagram and on their website because every designer has a style that they lean towards if given creative liberties. These are creative people at heart, so pick one that you feel like goes with what your Pinterest board looks like and has work that flows well, that way you're not trying to get a super traditional floral designer to do something way contemporary and modern. I hope that makes sense. You can feel extremely confident that we have vetted and picked our favorite floral designers in Birmingham. They are in the Engaged group on EngagedBirmingham.com. I hope this helps!
