A NOTE FROM KATIE & ALEC:
Hey there! We’re Katie & Alec Dixon: best friends, college sweethearts, husband-and-wife wedding photographers. Birmingham is home for us, and we live in an adorable 1940's home in Homewood with our adorable kitty, Dixie. A few things you should probably know about us upfront are that we’re hopeless joy-seekers, bear-huggers, and ice cream enthusiasts.
More than that though, we seriously believe that marriage is a treasure that is never to be taken lightly. Your wedding day will be full of joy, emotions, and so much fun! We’re here to help give you images that will bring you back to every sweet moment of your wedding day. Our style is bright, light, and joy-filled because we believe that those moments deserve to be captured exactly as they were in all their glory.
Katie is our resident details expert, posing guru, and one of the girls. She jokes that she’s a professional dress-fluffer, but let’s be real, it’s true. Alec loves documenting candid moments, is the king of family formals, and will be there to keep everyone laughing with his puns & dad jokes.
