Completed in late 1926, the Historic Federal Reserve building was designed by architects in a style known as Greco-Deco, a combination of Greek Classicism and Art Deco elements. In 1958, a five story addition was built onto the left side of the structure, providing more space. Both listed on the National Register for Historic Places, these pieces of Birmingham history offer a look into the booming past and future possibilities of downtown Birmingham. The building served as a vital element to the growth of Birmingham and its development as an influential city in the region until 2000 when the bank relocated to Vestavia.
It has been newly renovated and is ready to host the event of your dreams! With rustic brick elements, exposed ceilings, and, of course, the unique vault as a focal point at the entrance, the possibilities are endless. It is managed and exclusively catered by Urban Cookhouse - fresh, affordable, farm-to-table cuisine!
WHY WE LOVE:
It's hard to pick our favorite part about this historic and breathtaking venue, but we especially love the outdoor patio area that can be flipped and repurposed to host the cocktail hour of the year!!
