Sidney is a Birmingham native and a Birmingham-Southern College graduate where she received a bachelor of fine arts degree in studio art. There is no doubt the wedding business was made for this gal! She works full-time at Engaged as the Lead Wedding Planner for Engaged Weddings, and as one of the Librarians that meets with and helps brides plan for their perfect day! She is our true wedding “mastermind,” and we are so thankful for her constant diligence. Sid is a dog lover, downtown Birmingham expert, an exquisite artist, and never passes up a good slice of wedding cake. Sidney loves people so well and always does her job with such excellence. She is excited to further pursue her career and continue making each bride’s dreams come true!

Amanda is a Moody native and a 2021 graduate of Auburn University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance. After spending the past few years in Auburn, she and her husband Andrew are thrilled to be back in Birmingham!

Amanda works full-time at Engaged as our Social Media Manager and Assistant Librarian. While she discovered her passion for planning during her own wedding in 2022, her love for weddings goes way back—she grew up watching wedding videos on YouTube and dreaming of her own special day. Now, having had the wedding of her dreams, Amanda is passionate about helping other brides bring their vision to life, too.

When she’s not working, Amanda loves traveling, baking, and is a regular at the local Chick-fil-A. With a keen eye for detail and a creative spirit, she’s an invaluable part of our team and so excited to continue growing her career with Engaged!

Katherine graduated from Samford University and has called Birmingham home ever since. She received a bachelor’s degree in early childhood, elementary and special education. During the week, Katherine works full-time teaching kindergarten. Since a young age, she has loved every aspect of weddings, from the planning stages and Pinterest boards, to how it all comes together the day of the wedding. Katherine knew day-of coordination would be the perfect way to serve brides and gain experience in the wedding industry. Katherine began working with Engaged in March 2021. It is her desire to go above and beyond to make each brides’ wedding day nothing less than seamless!

Birmingham has always been home to Becky, and it holds a special place in her heart. She’s married to her best friend, and together they are raising two adventurous boys who keep life full of energy and laughter. She has a deep love for every aspect of weddings—from the grand vision to the tiniest details that make each celebration unique. When she’s not working, you’ll find her spending time with family and friends, listening to crime podcasts, exploring new places, or searching for hidden treasures in an antique store!

Maddy, originally from Cleveland, Ohio, has called Birmingham home since 2021 and quickly fell in love with its vibrant wedding scene. She enjoys being the point person for couples, ensuring their big day runs smoothly while they celebrate with loved ones. Outside of weddings and her 9-to-5, Maddy loves exploring Birmingham’s restaurants, cocktail bars, coffee shops, walking trails and local boutiques. Being part of such meaningful moments is something she finds truly special.

Originally from Madison, Alabama and now based in Birmingham, Abbey is an Auburn University graduate and current bride with a passion for designing and executing seamless, meaningful celebrations. As a wedding planning assistant, I’ve learned invaluable skills from the experienced lead planners at Engaged—gaining hands-on knowledge in coordination, design, and client care. My time assisting has taught me how every detail contributes to a couple’s perfect day.
