Wedding Morning Must-Haves

Because how you start the day sets the tone for everything!

You’ve planned every detail—from your dream dress to your perfect playlist—but don’t forget to set yourself up for a smooth, stress-free wedding morning! Whether you’re getting ready at home, in a bridal suite, or at your venue, here are a few must-haves we always recommend having on hand:

1. A Printed Timeline

Your planner might have it in their binder and your phone might be charged (for now), but having a printed timeline on hand—especially for your bridal party—keeps everyone on the same page and the day running smoothly.

2. A Getting Ready Outfit

Opt for something cute and practical—think a button-down pajama set or a robe that won’t mess up your hair and makeup when it’s time to change. (Bonus: it looks great in photos!)

3. Steamer + Stain Stick

Someone always forgets to steam their dress or ends up with a mystery spot on a white shirt. A handheld steamer and stain remover pen will save the day more often than you think.

4. Breakfast, Lunch, and Lots of Water

It’s a long day—you’ll need more than a granola bar! We always recommend having both breakfast and lunch planned for the girls while getting ready. This is a great job to delegate to a family member or friend who’s looking for a way to help. Keep it light, mess-free, and easy to grab between hair and makeup—think mini sandwiches, fruit, wraps, or pastries. And don’t forget plenty of water!

5. Emergency Kit

Bobby pins, safety pins, blotting papers, fashion tape, pain reliever, breath mints… these little things can make a big difference. (Hint: if you’ve booked us for Wedding Day Management, we bring ours with us!)

6. A Portable Speaker

Set the mood with a fun playlist while you’re getting ready. Music can ease nerves and make the whole morning feel like a celebration.

7. All Your Details in One Place

Gather your shoes, jewelry, perfume, invitation suite, vow books, and any heirloom pieces together the night before so they’re ready for your photographer to capture first thing.

Final Tip: Let Someone Else Be In Charge

Your only job on wedding morning? Enjoy it. Surround yourself with people who make you feel calm and happy—and let your planner or coordinator handle the rest. (That’s what we’re here for!)
