It was so sweet to celebrate Gentry and Quinten and their love with friends and family on their wedding day! Every detail felt personal to them, but one of the most fun touches had to be the ice cream and milkshake bar from Neighbors, where guests could enjoy Quinten’s favorite mint Moose Tracks and Gentry’s classic chocolate shakes as their signature drinks.

Gentry shared a little, looking back- “Quinten and I met in 2018 through mutual friends! We both went to the same college and attended the same church so we were always seeing each other around and quickly become good friends! In the summer of 2019 I interned in St. Mary Jamaica leading medical and missions teams with an organization that I have been serving with since I was 14 years old. I lived in Jamaica for 2.5 months and when I returned in August of 2019, Quinten asked me out on a date and we instantly hit it off and began dating! Evidently it is true when they say absence makes the heart grow stronger!

We got married on June 21, 2025 and it truly was the best day of our lives getting to celebrate with our friends and family! There were so many moments that I will cherish forever. One of the moments of that day was when my father gave me a set of pearl earrings. These earrings were created from a pearl necklace that he had given my mom on their wedding day thirty eight years ago, This was so special to me and something to carry on to future generations. Another special moment was mine and Quinten’s first look. I was so anxious all morning but seeing him truly made me feel calm and relaxed.

Quinten and I love ice cream and so having the ice cream and milkshake bar was truly something that we will cherish forever! We used the milkshakes as our signature drink of the night! Quinten’s was mint moose tracks and mine was a classic chocolate shake!

We just recently moved to Birmingham and are getting settled into our new apartment as newlyweds! We are loving life and enjoying this new season!”
