Savannah and John’s wedding day was the perfect mix of heartfelt and fun—from emotional, can’t-stop-smiling moments to a celebration that kept the dance floor full all night long. Every detail felt true to them, and you could see just how much love surrounded them at every turn!

Savannah shared a little, looking back- “John and I met at the Homewood Chili Cook-Off in 2022! I was with a group of friends and he was with a group of friends. He asked for my number and we spent the rest of the day together. It felt like a movie. We have been together ever since! We have been getting settled into our condo and working on some renovations. John finished his Regional Anesthesia Fellowship in May and has begun working as an anesthesiologist. I have been a Labor and Delivery nurse for over 4 years and love it! It is truly so special to witness new life come into the world!

Our favorite moment of the day was our first look! We did not speak on the day of the wedding so that the first time we heard each other’s voices would be when we did our first look. The moment John turned around, we were both filled with so much joy and happiness. It was a surreal moment for sure.”

“My advice to future brides would be to include your fiance on every bit of planning and decision making. There were so many times that I felt overwhelmed with decision making and John would direct me in the right direction every time. It truly felt like it was our wedding and not something that I just planned on my own. I would also recommend doing a first look and private dinner. Those moments with just the two of us were priceless. The wedding day was so busy and it was so nice that we had set aside time where we could just be in each other’s company without any distractions.”
